This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through www.ecchotag.com (“Website”), including single bottle purchases, curated boxes, and subscriptions.
We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and maintaining high standards of product quality and service.
1. Overview
All wines sold through Ecchotag are sourced directly from trusted local producers and shipped with care. Because wine is a perishable, artisanal product, our return and refund options are limited to specific circumstances outlined below.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Inspection: Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
Notification: If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 2 days of delivery using the contact form available on ecchotag.com/contact.
Include your order number and, if possible, photos of the damaged or incorrect items.
Resolution: After verification, we will offer a replacement or full refund, including applicable shipping costs.
3. Change of Mind Returns
Due to the nature of wine and storage conditions, we generally cannot accept returns for change of mind or personal taste preferences.
However, if you believe the wine is faulty or corked, please contact us and describe the issue. We may request additional details or photos to assess the claim before offering a refund or replacement.
4. Return Process
Authorization: Returns must be pre-approved. Once approved, you’ll receive return instructions.
Packaging: Returned goods must be securely packaged to prevent further damage during transit.
Shipping Costs:
- If the goods were damaged or incorrect, return shipping is covered by us.
- For other approved returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
5. Refunds
Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 2–3 business days after the returned items are received and verified.
Refund Method: All refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method used at checkout.
Depending on your bank, it may take several days for the refund to appear in your account.
6. Faulty Wines (Corked or Spoiled)
If you suspect that a wine is corked or otherwise faulty, please retain the bottle (with cork) and contact us promptly.
Once we verify the issue, we will issue a replacement or refund for the affected item.
7. Age Verification
Ecchotag complies with Georgian and international laws regarding alcohol sales.
We only sell to customers of legal drinking age in their respective countries.
Age verification may be required upon delivery or checkout.
8. Non-Delivery or Unclaimed Orders
If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, refusal, or uncollected parcel:
- The order may be returned to us by the courier.
- We reserve the right to deduct both the original and return shipping costs from any refund issued.
- Shipping fees shown at checkout are indicative and not necessarily equal to the full courier charge.
9. International Orders
International deliveries may be subject to customs checks, duties, or delays.
Ecchotag is not responsible for customs fees or delays caused by local regulations once an order leaves Georgia.
