Exceptionally versatile — pairs beautifully with traditional Kakhetian dishes like mtsvadi, chakapuli, and nadughi as well as Asian cuisine, especially sweet-and-spicy combinations where the tannins cleanse and refresh the palate.
Tano-Tatano is an artisanal field blend wine from a single vineyard in Akhmeta, where the indigenous Kisi grape (around 60%) is joined by Khikhvi, Rkatsiteli, and Mtsvane. These four varieties, co-fermented in traditional qvevri and aged on the skins for seven months, reveal the true harmony of Kakheti’s ancient winemaking traditions — vibrant, structured, and profoundly expressive.
  • Appearance: Deep amber with golden highlights, clear and dense, reflecting both the intensity of the fruit and the depth of qvevri aging.
  • Aromas & Flavors: Herbaceous and subtly spicy, with notes of dried white fruits — apple, pear, and apricot — along with gentle hints of nuts and wild herbs. As the wine opens, earthy undertones and delicate floral layers emerge, adding refined complexity.
